The FuZe operates as a not-for-profit organization and takes pride in providing you with Excellent Value.  But there are associated costs. 

We understand the need to keep your costs as low as reasonable and work hard to find ways to improve affordability while maintaining quality. 
We keep the team and tournament fees low and do not profit from any event or activity.  However, please recognize that additional costs will include transportation, lodging, and food.  As a community club, we work hard to find community solutions.

2010 Summer Tournament Fees

These fees cover tournament fees; a stipend for coaches who do NOT have a player in the program; and coach lodging and food. 
Cost difference for the same tournament are due to the number of stipend coaches and players. 
These fees apply to "alternates" and "guest" players as well, if they participate in a tourney. 
Player lodging, food, and travel will be additional.

Registration Fee

  • Registration Fee ($25).  One time, annual fee.  Required for all new and all returning players.  Required of all early selectees and players trying out.  Registration allows us to prepare for tryouts/evaluations. The fee covers those costs. The fee includes a reversible pinnie and covers the cost for equipment (e.g., balls, etc) and services (e.g., athletic trainer, sPortability, etc).  This fee is payable through sPortability at the time a player completes his application. The registration fee is nonrefundable.

Team Fees

  • High School Team Fee (BLUE, GOLD, WHITE, SELECT Teams).  (Team Fee is $275).  Required once a player is selected to the FuZe Lacrosse Club. The fee covers participation in both the summer and fall tournament cycle but does not cover tourney and associated costs.  This fee is the same, regardless of which team you are placed.  The team fee covers the costs to practice and outfit a team to participate in the 2010 tournaments.  The fee includes a player uniform and other team clothing and items.  It also covers the cost for the coaches' uniform.  Note: it may partially offset a coach stipend (a coach with no child in the program).  By keeping the fee low, other items and services are available for purchase separately.  While most of the fee goes directly back to the player and team, it also helps the club cover operating costs.  The fee is nonrefundable barring extenuating circumstances and approval by the FuZe Board of Directors.
     
  • U-15 Team Fee (Team Fee is $175).  Required once a player is selected to the FuZe Lacrosse Club. The fee covers participation in both the summer and fall tournament cycle but does not cover tourney and associated costs.  The team fee covers the costs to practice and outfit a team to participate in the 2010 tournaments.  The fee includes a player uniform and other team clothing and items.  It also covers the cost for the coaches' uniform.  Note: it may partially offset a coach stipend (a coach with no child in the program).  By keeping the fee low, other items and services are available for purchase separately.  While most of the fee goes directly back to the player and team, it also helps the club cover operating costs.  The fee is nonrefundable barring extenuating circumstances and approval by the FuZe Board of Directors.

NPYLL Spring Season Fee

  • National Premier Youth Lacrosse League (NPYLL) for U13 and U15 (NPYLL Fee is $100).   Fee covers NPYLL team registration,  referee fees, coaching, team support, and team shorts).  NPYLL is an elite Spring League which we make available to all those players who are early selectees or are invited to play as alternates or guests.  NPYLL levels are U15, U13 Youth.  FuZe considers NPYLL as an additional ("bonus") opportunity to the summer and fall cycle.  All FuZe players participating in the NPYLL must have US Lacrosse Memberships for league insurance purposes.

Tournament Fees

  • Tournament Fees  Pay to Play basis.  Tournament fees are shared and are based on the tournament entry fee.  Each tournament is different and those estimated fees vary accordingly.  Tournament costs will be affected by the number of stipend coaches participating with the team.  Other tournament costs relate to team activities including meals, transportation, and lodging.  Total tournament costs will relate to the specific team your son is placed and the number of tournaments he participates.

Please note, that as much as we will keep costs down, each family should plan to budget from $500 to $2000 for their son’s full participation with the FuZe.  The cost range is based on your son's team and the tournaments.  This rough estimate includes the costs for registration, team fee, summer and fall tournament fees, and lodging/food expenses. 
It's an investment that does require your commitment.  

The vast majority of cost covers direct expenses and goes back to the players and the program
